For professionals in knitting expression
This course specializes in the design and techniques of knitwear, which accounts for an estimated half of all apparel. While broadening your range of expression, you'll also have the opportunity to work with the latest equipment used by world-renowned brands.

We received the Sustainability Award and the Encouragement Award at the "mimi-award 2025" contest, which repurposes "selvages of fabric," which are discarded in large quantities during the production process of textile factories, into works of art.
Product development and sales program in collaboration with the Senshu Knit Association
We collaborate with the Senshu Knit Cooperative, one of Japan's leading knit production areas. Students will commission the knitting of fabrics and learn the entire process of manufacturing, from designing and knitting knitted products to sewing and sales.
A knitting studio equipped with the latest equipment, rare anywhere in Japan
We have introduced the WholeGarment® computer flat knitting machine (fully seamless type), which eliminates seam allowances and enables three-dimensional expression, along with the latest knit design system. We conduct computer-aided production training.

Knitted products can be freely shaped from a single thread. It is said that they now account for half of all apparel. Our school has introduced the latest equipment, a whole garment computer flat knitting machine, which is used by famous brands around the world, and uses it in regular classes. By using knit and woven fabrics appropriately, you can create the image you want to express.

Main subjects
Knit modeling Ⅰ
Students will use crochet hooks and needles to create knitted fabrics and understand the characteristics of knits. Learn the basic knowledge of knitting by creating knitted products based on hand-knitting.
Knit modeling Ⅱ
We use WHOLEGARMENT computerized flat knitting machines to perform everything from design to production of knitted products. Learn techniques to freely design patterns and colors and convert them into knitted fabric data.
