Learning about stage costume design
Students learn traditional haute couture techniques, materials, and embellishments, and practice creating clothing that expresses their own worldview. Through dressmaking and stage costume production, they acquire advanced skills and expressive abilities.
Under the guidance of Isamu Morita, the designer of the bridal brand "ISAMU MORITA," participants will learn about atelier tours, dress construction, market trends, and accessory making.
At the Autumn Festival, third-year students will present their dress collection, worn by professional models. They will learn about material selection, advanced sewing techniques, and embellishments.
We carefully interpreted the world of the play and worked on creating costumes that reflected the characters' feelings and the historical context.

Students will learn about couture techniques, materials, and decorations, and aim to create high-quality clothing. The skills learned here will be of great use not only in the production of dresses and stage costumes, but also in the apparel industry, which focuses on ready-made clothing.

You will learn high-quality haute couture techniques, including design, pattern making, materials, and sewing methods that suit the wearer's body type and the occasion.
Students will learn about the texture and form characteristics of fibers, threads, cloth, etc., which are the constituent elements of materials, and will acquire the knowledge to create patterns and sew that take materials into account during production.
