After graduating from Bunka Fashion College (receiving the Principal's Award), she worked for an apparel company in Japan for five years. After moving to France in 2008, she gained seven years of experience as a designer (Styliste Modéliste) at Nina Ricci, and subsequently built her career as a modelist for haute couture, ready-to-wear, and VIP fashion at several top fashion houses including Dior, Saint Laurent, and Lanvin. She currently works as the chief modelist at the Saint Laurent atelier.
