卒業後、個人ブランドとして「tanakadaisuke」を立ち上げ、ファッションデザイナー・刺繍作家としてアーティストやCMの衣装を手がけています。衣装やアイテムのオーダーは、基本的にお任せいただけるので、素材をはじめデザイン、縫製、仕上げまで、すべて自分が納得のいくモノづくりを貫くことができるのがこの仕事の魅力です。2022年には「東京コレクション」のランウェイでコレクションを発表するなど、これまで以上に、より大きな世界へ発信していくことにやりがいを感じています。

幼なじみの2人で設立したブランド「DOKKA vivid」で在学中にデビューすることができました。"Spice for your life"を軸に人生のスパイスとなるようなカラフルで刺激のあるアイテムを提案しています。2022年、世界4大コレクションのひとつ「New York Fashion Week」では、古着を分解し再構築したアップサイクルコレクションを発表することができ、またヴォートレル校との協業で、学内のプレスルーム「SPICE ROOM power by OIF」の運営にも携わらせていただいています。

デザインや生産管理をはじめ、ブランド全体のディレクションを担当しています。マルチタスクな毎日は大変ですが、新しいものを生み出すたびにお客様が感動してくださり、その瞬間本当にやりがいを感じます。服飾未経験からスタートした大阪文化時代は、刺激的な先生や友人と共に、コレクション制作、ショーの運営、百貨店でのPOPUP 出店など、現場さながらの経験を積み、間違いなく現在の基盤となっています。これからも社会で闘う女性たちを内面から輝かせるブランド作りに全力を注ぎ、ポジティブなエネルギーを発信していきたいです。

Having played soccer as a child, I became interested in designing sports equipment, and joined Mizuno Corporation. I am currently involved in the development and design of football wear and competitive swimwear. Although it is difficult to be required to provide comprehensive direction and visual communication, I am still able to enjoy my work because I learned perseverance at vocational school. Furthermore, I feel that my horizons have broadened by experiencing contests and exhibiting at exhibitions while I was a student. I would like to continue taking on new challenges.

I joined Adastria because I was attracted to the environment that values diversity. I am in charge of designing women's wear. The most difficult part is when an issue arises in the production process. At times like that, I remember the experience I had managing a group brand during my student days. I still use what I learned through hands-on experience from product planning to sales, and I feel rewarded when the intention of the design I tried and tested gets across to customers. In the future, my goal is to start my own brand and become a designer who travels the world.

「URBAN RESEARCH DOORS」のメンズウェアを中心に、企画した商品が年間約120アイテム店頭に並んでいます。素材やパターン、縫製工場の各担当者と打ち合わせをする際に、専門学生時代に学んだ基礎や経験が役に立っています。デザイナーとしてさまざまな方と関わることができ、日々成長を実感しています。目標は、マイブランドを立ち上げること。自分のブランドのアイテムでスタイリングを組み、雑誌に掲載されたらうれしいですね。

環境に配慮しながら
唯一無二のニットアートを追求する

I launched "LOVE it ONCE MORE" and am producing knitted items based on environmentally friendly manufacturing using surplus yarn. Since I was a child, I have loved looking at knitted stitches. While I am able to work freely, I am always accompanied by responsibility and pressure. However, during my time as a student, I learned that "effort never betrays you." I had many opportunities to accumulate input under the guidance of caring teachers, turn it into a form, and output it, and I feel that I have grown in any way. My dream now is to spread knit art to the world.

I manage the brand "FUJI" and oversee everything from creation to management. "I feel confident when I wear these clothes" is what one of my customers said to me, and I feel really rewarded when a product I made becomes part of someone's daily life. When I was a student, I learned to dig deep into the philosophy and stories behind a design, and I realized that this gives depth to ideas. This has become an important guideline for running the brand today. We are also preparing for an exhibition in Paris, and I would like to spread Japanese technology and materials beyond borders.

I am in charge of a wide range of things, including magazines, advertisements, and costumes for artists and celebrities. Since I was in middle school, I loved looking at fashion magazines and wanted to become a stylist who could influence others. Performance costumes often involve remaking and resizing, and the sewing and pattern-making skills I learned as a student are very useful.
