Three students from our school won the Grand Prix, Design Award, and Popularity Award at the "BookOff Presents RE:CLOTHES CUP 2021," an upcycling fashion contest using discarded clothing and other materials. The school also received a School Award, bringing the total number of awards to four.

This contest involves creating remade or upcycled items using discarded clothing and other materials. Its aim is to cultivate and discover designers who can demonstrate creativity beyond ordinary remaking and contribute to a sustainable society.

120 entries were submitted from fashion schools in western Japan, and 60 entries advanced to the final round of judging.
Following a rigorous judging process by Soen magazine's editor-in-chief, Motonori Kojima, and others, Shikiya, a first-year student Fashion Creator was selected for the "Grand Prix," Motoyama, also a first-year student, was selected for the "Design Award," and Kageyama, a second-year student Brand Management Producer Course, was selected for the "Popularity Award."

In this contest, our school won awards in four out of seven categories, once again recognizing the creativity of OIF.
