On October 12th, four students from OSAKA INSTITUTE OF FASHION—two current students and two graduates—passed the final round of judging for the Asia Fashion Collection, which was scheduled to be held as an event related to Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO. Unfortunately, the final judging was canceled due to the typhoon's landfall and was hastily changed to a presentation-style judging process.

Therefore, OIF presented collections by two of its students at the "Autumn Festival" held on October 26th. The students showcased their works in front of media representatives and other guests from both inside and outside the school.

First up, we have RYUSEI OKAMOTO, a fourth-year student Super Designer, who advanced to the next round in second place.

And also by Takaaki Nishimura, a fourth-year student Super Designer

Although they didn't achieve the same result as last year's two joint Grand Prix winners, Kano Hayata and Minori Yanagase, having a current student selected for this contest, which is entered on a brand-by-brand basis, is a remarkable achievement.

Incidentally, two other students from OIF, Kiichi Takanashi and Haruya Kawachi, who graduated from Fashion Creator in March 2019, also passed the final selection. Four out of the seven finalists are current students or graduates of OIF, demonstrating the high level of design at our school.
