OSAKA INSTITUTE OF FASHION Hankyu Department Store Umeda Main Store! Collaboration with Polimoda School also announced

From Wednesday, March 6th to Tuesday, March 12th, two limited-time pop-up shops opened on the 10th floor Hankyu Department Store Umeda Main Store inside Umeda Souk.

In addition to the annual shop showcasing student brands created by second-year students of Super Designer and Creative Designer Course, as well as brands from graduates, with the aim of supporting independent designers, this year, second-year students Brand Management Shop Development Course are participating for the first time, opening a select shop called sitto.

The student brand, created by second-year students Super Designer, features a lineup of one-of-a-kind items with meticulous attention to materials and details. The brand has been well-received, with customers purchasing items costing tens of thousands of yen one after another.

Second-year students in the Creative Design course created installations that emphasized an artistic sensibility, and sold accessories that incorporated that worldview.

The shop run by second-year students Brand Management analyzed the location and target customer base to plan the product lineup. They negotiated with domestic and international brands and handled the buying process. Many hit products were produced, including items sourced from South Korea.

In addition, second-year students in the department's producer course will be exhibiting original products from their produced brand, Cattleya.

As a special feature of this event, there was also an exhibition and sale of the "Kojima Denim Project," a collaborative effort between OIF, Polymoda School, and Showa Corporation.

Giulia, a master's student at Polimoda College in Italy who participated in this project, also came to Japan.

Seven brands from alumni exhibited their products. The event was lively, with activities such as a semi-custom order session being held.
