Winner of the judges' special award at the upcycling contest "Reclothes Cup"! 12 finalists, the largest number in the country

Yuka Nagino, a third-year student in the Creative Designer course of Fashion Creator, received a Special Jury Prize at the 3rd Reclothes Cup, a contest hosted by BookOff featuring upcycled clothing.

This contest seeks entries that use secondhand clothing handled by BookOff, adding new value through upcycling, and creating works that excite and inspire people. Ms. Nagino created a look that captures the joy of the changing seasons and the arrival of spring, using a garment made entirely of lace. By combining lace motifs, she has created a textile with a unique texture and depth.

At the awards ceremony, stylist Itsuki Aizawa, who served as a judge, presented the certificates of commendation.

At the fashion show, which served as the final judging round, 12 students from our school presented their works, the most in the country, out of 40 finalist entries.

Unlike typical fashion contests, the students bravely tackled the challenging task of combining "upcycling" and "creation," achieving remarkable results.
